Taman Desa：爱心满满的 Charlie's Cafe

话说那天欧巴看到 FB 上有 Charlie's Cafe 所售卖的 Musang King Durian Cheese Cake 的照片，就被吸引了。
查看了地址，发觉原来不是太远，便与欧巴去光顾这家 Cafe。
感觉上 Charlie's Cafe 应该营业不久，因为之前路过此地时，没有发现这间店。
店面的装潢简单，有个大大很显眼黄色的招牌。
特别之处在于这间cafe融入了本地元素，提供 Fusion 的餐点。
里头除了有西式的蛋糕，也售卖各类本地小吃。
我们听取了服务员的推荐，点了他口中顾客回头率很高的咖喱叻沙和自制冰柠檬茶。
自制的柠檬茶不像外头现成售卖的那么甜，多了一份柠檬的清香；涩涩的柠檬茶喝起来消暑解热。

咖喱叻沙与我们普通吃到的不太一样，少了椰浆的浓稠。
店家所煮的叻沙偏向清新的感觉，但我还是比较喜欢在怡保吃到的咖喱面。
有别于传统的咖喱面配料，店家使用的是叉烧和鱼丸。
总觉得少了蛤的咖喱面，就缺少了一份特殊的感觉。
Curry Laksa (RM 8.90)
欧巴期待的 Musang King Cheesecake 终于登场了。
浓郁的榴莲香完全盖过了芝士的味道；相较之下，芝士就显得逊色了。
美中不足的是，蛋糕丝毫没有一点甜味，而且口感不够细腻，并不如期待般的好味。

店家把他们的 Vision 大大地张贴在墙壁上。
农作物直接从农场到餐桌上是店家的宗旨。
另外，店家也很有爱心的发起了 Care Initiative，去帮助有需要的人。
店家也引进了助人为快乐之本的概念，叫做 Pay It Forward。
做法很简单，只要顾客结账时多给 RM 5，就可以帮助有需要的人拿来换取一顿饱饭。
从墙壁上的贴板，可以看出爱心还是存在于人间的。
我们发觉隔几间店有一间叫做 Red Kettle 的 Cafe。
由于已经吃饱了，所以我们只是买一些面包而已。
这间 Cafe 的特点在于面包都是新鲜制作的，还有就是价格尚可的西餐。
若有机会，下次会与欧巴下次来尝试。

Their curry laksa and cakes looks yummy thou. If I am around that area I will dropby this cafe.

回复删除So many cafe at Cheras area! Didn't always go visit the place but the Musang King Cake looks nice though even the taste doesn't meet your expectation hehe!
